Wie aktualisieren Sie die MySQL-Konfigurationsdatei ohne Neustart?

Du warst so nah dran! Das kill -HUP Methode hat bei mir auch nicht funktioniert.

Sie haben angerufen:

select @@global.max_connections;

Alles, was Sie brauchen, war zu setzen statt auszuwählen:

set @@global.max_connections = 400;
