Die Leistung der Analysefunktion kann von der Reihenfolge der Indexspalten abhängen. Ändern des Index von (ACCTNUM,DEPT_NUM)
bis (DEPT_NUM,ACCTNUM)
kann die Kosten senken und den Bedarf an temporärem Tablespace beseitigen.

INDEX FAST FULL SCAN verwendet schnelleres Multiblock-IO, erfordert aber auch das Sortieren der Daten und möglicherweise temporären Tablespace für den Sortierbereich.
INDEX FULL SCAN verwendet langsamere Einzelblock-IO, gibt die Daten jedoch in der richtigen Reihenfolge zurück und vermeidet das Sortieren.
